Snare drum wires are available with anything from 8 to 42 wires. The most popular drum kit styles use 12 to 24 wires, which are attached to small metal brackets that attach to the snare strainer and butt plate via wires, snare string or plastic strips. The more wires a snare has the more they influence the drum sound; fewer wires allow a more pure drum sound. Generally, more wires will result i...

Mapex Armory Daisy Cutter snare drum
i had sold mine.. i regret now...
Does it come with cymbals and stands
try with 2ply coated with low tunning.
16 sounds amazing haha
Que tipo de sensor é esse do controlador Hi Hat? Tem como você mostrar para nós o tipo de sensor que ficar dentro do controlador?
These are the XTR classic or brilliant series?
brilliant
The 22 for me 😉
Really well done review demo. Thanks!
I prefer undrilled front head but both sounds good, each in their own way.
I prefer undrilled but the sound-man dont .... :(
Leaning towards the pinstripes.
The pinstripe is shorter( small difference)
Thanks 👍
These are the types of videos i like. Thank you.
maybe next mapex mars
I just checked the hi hat stand, nice and not heavy at all. It has all the right features: 6 sided rod, tilting system, leg adjustment and spring adjustment. Good!
what's the reso head?
Evans ec resonant
Muy buen canal felicidades
Sonido increíble
Los tambores de abedul siempre suenan bien y este es un tambor barato.
sound his good
How are the quality of the shells? Do you need to tune the bass drum, like an acoustic bass drum?
loss or tension of the head: do not affect the pitch of the sound played. Tuning, in my experience, will only serve two purposes: adjusting the bounce (feel/responsiveness), and helping triggers accurately register. they do not affect the pitch of the sound you are playing With mesh heads you tighten or loosen them according to what feels good while you're playing.(too little tension on the head causes loss of sensitivity and mistriggering, and may enhance the hot spot problem with certain types of trigger placement (such as center mounted triggers.too much tension on the head also can causes triggering problems (loss of dynamic range and unintended double triggering are examples) and makes the drum feel off - it's like playing against a brick wall; the head has no give. )
Merci!!!
Who actually builds these kits? PDP? or is that just the series?IS TAYE building these for DW?..
this is a pdp Concept Maple Series 7 pcs Shell Set. pdp = pacific drums/percussion. made in china sold by thomann.de
Thanks for the vid!
If you dont want to be noise while playing drum, please playing with your pillow. There is no such a fun playing drum without noise. Drumming = the state of art of noises
I'm a working drummer... I have to learn tracks , but I live in an apartment. the only way is the electronic drum... 80% on the gigs i play acoustic
seems to me that hihat chokes are kinda off in comparison to the real drums, do you feel that while playing?
not as sensitive as a real one, but you can get used to it
Is that the snare that came with it? Also is it a 5.5x14 or 6.5x14?
No ,the snare is mapex armory daisy cutter 6.5x14 , you can find the test in my videos
I never owned a Mapex, but I got to say for the money, Mapex gives you a good amount of features and quality for their price. Along their whole line. Underrated drums in my opinion, and I've played and have been around drums for 30 years.
Right, even the low end drum sets are really decent. And Armory is the best set you can get in the price range
In more than 50 years of drumming Tama and Rogers were my all time favourites followed by 60/70 Premier.
I'm surprised how good this drum kit can sound. 👌
Thank you!!
That's nice. It's sad that they were discontinued. Such a good midline drum kit good for smaller gigs. I would like to hear how it sounds compared to Tama, PDP and Mapex from your thumbnail image. 🙂
I upload all the drums soon
@@tiszakalmanistvan Cool. Thank you
Thanks for this video
I tried everything to get rid of the Zultan logo. It won`t go away with anything. Do you have any recommendation ?
nail polish remover...(acetone) wash off the inscription. however, it is difficult to re -sell the cymbal without logo

Damn, that makes a huge difference. Thank you for this little bit of educational demonstration
thank you for watching

Szia! Szuper a videó, köszi! Mi a véleményed a caz szériáról? Sabian xs20as szériát használok jelenleg, kicsit komplexebb, melegebb hangzást keresek. Köszi előre is!

felt sounds better I think.
Question can the foam bit be removed or is Thier any internal workings inside the foam part
the foam is glued to the plastic. you can probably pry it off because the locking mechanism is in the metal part.
Nice! About to grab a 307 as well. Quick question: I eventually want to add the 14x14 Roland floor tom to this kit. Any idea if it's compatible with the td17? It's been hard to find that info
all analog Roland pads are compatible rubber or mash (stereo trs cable), digital pads are not
@@tiszakalmanistvan that floor tom is analog right?
@@jasonwright4144 stereo trs cable= analog
Remo heads are the best. No question
ertem, I was referring to myself; I should get the Tunebot out I have one but I never use it, but after watching this “Time to get the Tunebot out.” Erted ? 🙂
its a very useful device you can tune without making a lot of noise even in hotels, if you use the recommended notes to tune your drums the toms will have very good intervals between them. i tried using different tunings (higher, lower) but i always felt that the tunebots recommendations were better, i tried other tuners too but for me i like this one the most
I have the same snare and have had no problems. But I don't tune it high, I think it sounds and feels better at a medium tuning. It is a thinner shell, I think that's why it sounds good at a lower tuning. I have a 6 1/2", 20-ply PDP Concept Maple snare that I do tune higher and sounds awesome.
Hey, I recently bought this snare used. It looks exactly the same except the reso-sided steel hoop has those "hangers" where the snare wires go through. Any idea why they used to use those reso hoops with those hangers ( like this guy's one, only that he originally had Die Cast Hoops on it: ruclips.net/video/BO6XlJVloY8/видео.htmlsi=XeSnXVo3jd2bDJqu )? Can't find those "hangers" (is there a name for them?) on nowadays snares. Are your hoops the original ones? These are steel hoops right? Fun fact: I also decided to use a REMO Renaissance Ambassador on top regardless from your video. I use it for the first time and I am pretty satisfied. ;-)
in the the video in your link the snare drum has a diecast hoop with snare wire protector. the component is fixed there and cannot be removed. you need to buy a similar hoop. be careful because there are 8 and 10 lugs versions
It's eth allright with my snare, also with the hoops. I just wondered that you don't have those wire protectors on your hoops. Cause except from that, yours looks exactly the same like the one I own. The other snare from the guy's video originally had DieCastHoops and other lugs on it. So it seems that MAPEX once delivered two versions of it. And I don't like those protectors so I wondered cause you didn't have one... @@tiszakalmanistvan
Hello, thanks for the video, what is the name of the adapter that you use for the stand to attach the pad to it? Thank you!
Roland PDS-20 Stand or Roland APC-33 Drum Set Mounting Clamp or Roland PDS-10 Stand, for Handsonic
@@tiszakalmanistvan, Can I mount the pad on the regular snare stand? Would it damage it?
@@aaronfeldman3921 the pd8 pd 9 is too small.... the pd 105/125 can easily be mounted on a snare stand. its better to mount it to a snare stand made for 10-12" piccolo snares.
Very good recording!
You can die from licking your hand, btw. Always use gloves. This is sched 2 poison.
Oare sunt chiar singurul fraier care nu reuseste sa acordeze corect cazanul ala de 14x7 ? Ma scoate efectiv din minti.
Renikem! Gyonyoru vagy, gyonyoru a hangod!!! Imadlak!!!
I hear you on this one! This is why unfortunately I use the standard Maple Custom snare and now the AVA stave snare and never the classic concept snare. I love a super tight crisp snare and I can't do that with these. But I do use this snare on my BOP kit because I don't need that sound.
sound good tuned low ,except the excessive snare buzz...
